4oD Error CP-1

Is the 4oD app down or an issue with the service, as its been like this for a few days now or can everyone help regarding this error?

4oD not working

Whenever I load 4oD I get the following error message: The 4oD service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later. [ERROR-CP1]



I've tried uninstalling and a hard reset but it's still the same. Anybody got a solution?

Just bought the Sunset Overdrive Xbox one and trying to launch 4od and get service unavailable Error cp1. Read previous posts and messaged 4od which say my TVs firmware conflicts with 4od security and use an analog cable but the Xbox one doesn't have analog?
Tried uninstal then reinstal which makes no difference. Please advise.

 

I have done some research and seen some posts suggesting an issue if your are attempting to use an HDMI splitter (if you are try getting rid of it) or you could try holding the power button for 10 seconds until the console shuts down then unplug everything
from it and let it sit for 5 minutes.

If that fails unplug your modem/router for 30 seconds and then plug it back in again to reset the internet.

 

onyx62is: Thanks for the advice. I don't use a splitter, just the Xbox one HDMI into the TV, also switched everything off including the router for 5 minutes with no luck.

I've also tried Miss Diggz method with no luck from a similar thread:

1. Uninstall the 4 On Demand app
2. Power cycle your Xbox One console.
   
3. Once the console is off completely, unplug your power supply from the wall and your console.
   
4. Leave everything unplugged for a few minutes.
5. Plug your console back in and turn it on.
6. Redownload the 4oD app and try launching it

Ok, I'm not entirely familiar with the 4oD app as I do not use it but does it have a website? If so, see if it's possible to disassociate your gamertag with it. If it is then delete the app, do the power cycle steps again, while it's off remove your gamertag
from the app then turn your console back on and reinstall the app signing in with all the necessary details.

 

I'm sorry to see that you've run into this issue, Minion! I know that you've power cycled your console, and I hate to ask you to do it once more. However, this time, could you hold the power button on your console for about 10 seconds to clear the cache
on the Xbox One? Let me know if that helps you with it. It has helped with a couple other users.

 

Misses Quinzel: Grateful for the reply. I have done as requested with no joy, the app is still giving me the same error.

Unfortunately the Xbox One has developed a hardware fault with the fan and requires to be replaced. Hopefully, but unlikely this new Xbox one will fix my issues.

 

I am experiencing the same issue, I have also tried a power cycle holding the power button for 10 seconds, reinstalled 4od and am still getting this error-cp1. I've only owned the console for just over a week and haven't got 4od working yet. Anyone any other
ideas? Could it be a problem with my HDMI cable and the 4od app?

 

I am also experiencing this issue error code [ERROR-CP1]. My Xbox is new. I have not been able to get it working since I set it up. I have yet to see a fix for the issue. I would be interested to know if anyone does get one.

 

Hi, guys! Have you tried to clear the persistent storage 3 times, cleared the MAC, uninstall the app, and restarted the console? Let me know if it works! Thanks!
