4k UHD Bluray trouble on Xbox One X

I used to have trouble paying UHD movies with almost every disc I had. 10% of the time they would play just fine, but the majority of the time I would get multuple read errors and it usually took at least 3 or 4 restarts and reinserts untilit would play. After that, it would often start acting up between 50-75% of the way through the movie by freezing, stuttering and audio dropouts. I sent it in in the warranty period multiple times, and they just wiped it every time, said it was fine and sent it back.

I tried to send it in one last time before my warranty was up last year and contacted them in advance about the issue and said it needed to be taken care of. They "support" staff said that it qas an unkown issue and there was nothing they could do, but I could pay to have it shipped to the US (I live in Japan) and MAYBE they could do more. I wasn't going to pay $100 shipping for a "maybe" o something that was still under warranty, so I jist figured I would be pissed at MS for awhile until they made an update or something.

Tonight, I put in a UHD disk for the first time since then andit was immediately the same troubles! I checked the bluray app for updates and there is nothing. How in the world did one of the main selling points of the system (UHD support) never end up getting fixed?

So angry that after all this time they still haven't gotten their act together.

Anyone have any fix at all? It's not dirty or bad discs. I own about 25 different UHD blus and they have all had these issues at different time and in different places fresh from the box, cleaned or not. Doesn't matter. It's not the discs, it's the software I'm sure beause 4K gaming is and has been perfect, both from the HDD and physically from game discs.

I have done all these things, multiple times. It doesn't work.

System cache has been cleared

Bluray cache has been cleared

System has been completely wiped three times courtesy of MS

There are zero updates to be made

Have tried playing with andqithout BD Live

Have tried playing both on and offline

Have tried with other HDMI cables

Even connected to a different TV once.

I'm not tryingto be difficult, I'm trying to tell you this is something MS needed to have fixed when I was within warranty and refused to do so, so I was hoping there was some type of update by now.

I spent hours and hours jumping through hoops doing all of the things you listed and more multiple times before.

I spent weeks without the system only to have it retured every time with just a syatem restore I could have done myself and then spent even more hours setting things up again and redownloading everything.

I'm, frankly, tired of the trouble shooting, and even more tired of MS acting as if it's a user error while they refuse to fix a problem.

No, I have never taken it in anywhere else. I actually have found other people saying they have the same stuttering issues I have, but at the time, I wasn't aware of them, so when MS said it was not a known issue, I just took them at their word, however....
