4k TV Setup questions

Depends on your setup my 50 inch 4k Roku TV works great for me.

I tried this already, on the setup it detected that my tv had 4K features, but when the factory reset finished and I went to settings, and chose 4K UHD, it says,

‘that didn’t work ... 4k is supported by your TV, but not at 60Hz. You will not be able to upscale to 4K, but, depending on your tv, you may still be able to play some 4k and HDR content...’

I used to have all green ticks on the 4K TV details... but now it says the only thing supported is dolby vision...

I have no idea what happened.

I am very confused. My Projector says it supports 4k HDR10 and so does my reciever. However, when I go to display settings 4k detail it says my TV setup doesn't support 4k 10-bit at 50hz, TV setup doesn't support 4k 10-bit at 60hz, TV setup doesn't support
Dobly Vision, TV setup doesn't support HDR10 for gaming, and TV setup doesn't support HDR10 for video capture.

But it supports HDR10 for video and 4k 10-bit at 24HZ as well as 4k UHD (60Hz). Yet when I call the companies that make my reciever and projector they say it does indeed support HDR10. Also when I look at the Signal output, it says the color depth is 8-bit
4:2:0, the people at Epson said the Xbox should be output 4:2:2. Anyone know what I need to do so my Xbox and project give me the support it is suppose to? The color format is also showing up as BT.709 But if I switch to my 4k fireTv it says the color format
is BT.2020 HDR. I also tried plugging my projector directly into the xbox, bypassing the reciever and still get the same data from the 4k details screen. Anyone have any ideas?

are you useing a xbox one x or a xbox one s

Forgot to give setup. Xbox is connected to tv directly via hdmi, then tv out to receiver via hdmi arc. It has always worked like this before with old xbox one. I tried connecting direct to reciever then pic to tv via arc, but then it says it is not 4k. Even
though reciever is capable of 4k arc passthrough.

Have you color synced rhe tv correctly?

Have you setup your tv on your xbox one x ? I use s samsung mu6100 4k tv and it detects it fine except for my ps4 pro

Also are you using s 4k cable on the xbox

Gold plated and must be hdmi 1.4 suggested 2.0

Not all cables are created equal

Ksep in mind 4k could be limited to certain slots please refer to your tv manual

Keep in mind when you change ports or cables you MUST run the tv setup wizard each time.to detect new settings if you want hdr supported
