    I have had an issues for ages of not being able to get my Xbox one x to play in 4K on a 4K projecter so I moved it to a Samsung Qled 4K tv and it runs in 4K but ok fifa and other apps and games such as prime video the screen blinks black quite frequently
    but I don’t have a remote for the tv to change any settings, any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated tia

    Youre having an HDCP (copy protection) error. Try a new HDMI cable that is 2.0 certified, and if that doesnt work it sounds like the hdmi port needs repair
    The cable that im using is the hdmi that came with the xbox, how do i know if a hdmi cable is 2.0 certified?

    First off, does your Xbox do the same thing when connected directly to the TV, instead of the receiver?
    It was the cable from AVR to TV for the 5h that i tested it was working fine.

    Yes, the original Xbox One can still be used on a 4K TV even though it doesn't support 4K gaming. However, it will only output at a maximum resolution of 1080p. When you connect your Xbox One to a 4K TV, the TV will automatically upscale the image to fit the 4K resolution. This can result in a slightly blurry or stretched image, depending on the TV's upscaling capabilities.

    That being said, using an Xbox One on a 4K TV in 1080p should not cause any major issues. The image may not look as sharp as it would on a 1080p TV, but it should still be perfectly playable. You may want to experiment with different settings on your TV to see if you can improve the image quality, such as adjusting the sharpness or turning on any image enhancement features that your TV may have.
