Company Chen LTD UK scammed me twice, I tested 2 monitors and they both display issues with 4k running xbox series x. I think Microsoft did some update and the YCC 4.2.2 plays an important role. Basically what happens is when I put games on the screen goes to 1080p during the game, or worse, it looks really shabby quality, then I go to the xbox settings video and set the YCC 4.2.2 off then the game's visuals play fine, but when I switch games the video mode goes back to shabby quality, then I go back to settings switch YCC 4.2.2 to the opposite of what it currently is off or on, I do the opposite untick or tick, then go back to game and the game is fine again, until I switch games. Then all over again same problems.

Now another problem is the monitor occasionally blacks out the screen, and then comes back again. It is like it's going out of sync, and at first it never did that before some xbox update, or I never found a problem, but ever since switching games it causes thiis error in the monitor why?

If I were you I would stay away from this monitor I had to send both back. Either the monitor is not true 4k or Microsoft did something in an update. It worked before an update, but that might of been a fluke.

You need to contact support for the television you purchased and complain to support. And it's very important for you to say that because from what I understand they sell the product with false advertising.

Yeah I did, but they told me the engineers tested it, and that it worked on xbox series X, and I'm pretty sure they lied to me as I tested two new of their monitors out, one sent back, now I sent this new monitor back awaiting collection. Not going to trust or touch that brand name with a barge poll. Scamming companies. Upperfect more like not perfect.

Yeah and even Xbox one is also not even 4k, I told Amazon, I even told government there's a scam going on, and nobody did anything. Some world we live in huh. Scammers are allowed to scam because it's probably making Amazon revenue from it, and UK government are so far up their own ****, they don't give a ****, because they are already in it.

So I guess then we let scammers continue to scam....

Hello how are you? My name is Ezequiel I'm an Independent Consultant. It really is a very complex problem that this monitor is showing. I suggest you test the HDMI cable to make sure the problem is not with the cable. If everything is fine I suggest you test it on another 4K device, it could be at a family member's or friend's house to make sure if the problem is on the monitor or on the console, something makes me believe it's on the monitor.

Yo cheers for the reply, but you seem to think I have a family or friend to test the monitor out on, the only 4k device I have is an xbox sx. If a 4k monitor doesn't work with a 4k device, it clearly isn't a 4k device correct? I did try with 3 different mini hdmi to hdmi cables, the monitor only takes mini hdmi to hdmi large.

It doesn't need to claim to be compatible, the monitor states it can do 4k all 4k monitors are compatible with ps5 and xbox series x. It's technology and science, backwards compatibility, the engineers even stated it worked fine on xbox series x, so they lied to me? There are even answers saying its compatible with The 4K portable monitor is compatible with Xbox series s, it states in the answers.

The reason it might not have stated this in description is the release of this monitor came out before ps5 and xbox S/X. All HDMI tv's are backwards compatible and future proof based on the capabilities of ther monitor, 4k thus 4k devices. I just know this monitor is being oversold as a true 4k monitor when clearly it's not, I believe the IPS screen is not 2160p just the electronics are perhaps set to 1800p, if the display is not a native 2160p then it's not 4k correct?

That meaning if it goes out of sync on occasion then it can't be a true 2160p display.

That portable monitor doesn't claim to be compatible with the Xbox Series consoles. The purchase page shows that it is only compatible with the Xbox One family of consoles.
