    No 4K without HDR (xbox one x)

    you need hdr for 4k output

    I don't think you fully understand

    Uhd and hdr are required for 4k output

    Unless you have an xbox one s not a x

    You can't play in 4k

    4k is only for.movies or streaming sources which require both uhd and hdr

    But.xbox.one x will do 4k gaming

    It doesn't sound like the base model Xbox One will get either. That could change later, but it sounds like you'd need the Xbox One S, or next year's Scorpio, to get either 4K or HDR.

    MS had to boost the speed of the GPU in the Xbox One S to allow for HDR so the answer is no.

    4K@60hz requires hardware display output changes [HDMI 2.0/HDCP2.2], it can't be software added.

    How Sony software added HDR to the regular PS4 remains to be seen, probably enabled the option and told devs to just take the hit as the PS4 had a faster GPU to begin with.

    Also HDR is only available on 4K TV's on top of that Sony's method of allowing HDR over the older HDMI standard may require special support from the TV so the actual numbers of regular PS4's plugged into HDR displays will be very small.

    My Xbox one X will no longer allow me to record in 4k or 4k HDR

    My tv is a 55" OLED 4k HDR tv (I did say in the past it has recorded in 4k and that the tv is running in 4k HDR)

    Pro-Tip: Instead of a 4K HDR TV, get yourself a 4K HDR projector and a huge projection screen.

    FHD HDR

    Xbox only support hdr on 4k so we that have a xbox series s and 1080p 1440p hdr 120hz screen cannot get hdr because its not 4k. On ps4 it works tho 1080p hdr.
