    4K Monitor for Xbox One X?


    Has anyone found a monitor (27" - 32") they can confirm works with the XB1X to produce 4K? I am struggling to find any that clearly do. I purchased an LG
    27UD68-W 27-Inch 4K UHD IPS Monitor with FreeSync (2017)     - which on its face has all the right specs - but which I will be returning because through HDMI it meets none with the XB1X outputs (it also has FreeSync - but not through HDMI)

    Thanks in advance for anyone who has suggestions!

    use Xbox one X bundle hdmi cable

    HDMI Ultra Deep Color need "ON" , if monitor had and monitor setting "Customer"

    Monitor "ON" then Xbox one X "ON", SETUP resolution for 4K...

    I bought a LG 27UD69-W , I must HDMI Ultra Deep Color "ON" for 4K resolution...

    anyway... try it?

    Same here. I own a 32" 4K Philips BDM3275UP, that has all the specs to use 4K (HDMI2.0, 4K@60, HDR10, right cables), but the XB1X doesn't detect it as a 4K output device.

    A typical non-working Microsoft product. 500Euro for nothing!

    Asus MX34VQ, it is a bit bigger than you asked but I'm running it at 4k freesync via hdmi.

    if you go to http://www.amd.com/en/products/freesync-monitors you can see all the freesync monitors and if they support it via hdmi or displayport only.

    Sorry to reply to an old post, but how do you get the mx34vq to run in freesync and 4K? Its a 1440p monitor, you using 1440p? Are there drivers or setting that need to be changed. Whenever i try to enable 4k it says not supported, and freesync only works
    at 1080p

    The Xbox One can't play games at 4K, You need to have the Xbox One X and a 4K TV or a 4K Monitor to get to play games at 4K and games that show Xbox One X Enhanced on them.

    Xbox One X uses HDMI 2.0 and HDMI 2.0 bandwidth can only do 4K at 60hz,

    You can play the Xbox One X on non 4K TV / Monitors,

    However in my opinion, if you have no intentions of upgrading to 4K, its a waste of money to buy hardware that's capable of 4K gaming to not be gaming at 4K, even more so with the Xbox Series X arriving later this year,

    The same can be said for those who buy an RTX 2080 Ti's ( a 4K, £1000+ ) card to only use it on 1080p Monitors for PC gaming,

    I myself, if i didn't have a 4K TV and 4K Monitor, i would've just stayed with an Xbox One or at most a Xbox One S.
