    I have Xbox One X.

    I used to be able to capture up to 1 hour of 4K gameplay footage to my external 1TB SSD.

    Now, it appears I can only capture a maximum of 30 seconds in 4K.

    Has this capability been removed?

    Actually in the thread you sent, the OP looks like he updated with a solution. He posted a YouTube vid that says the 1 Hour Recording option was moved to a different tab in the Xbox menu... here's the link he posted:
