    4k Display from XBOX one X working?


    Until very recently my Xbox One X was working great with my 4K Sony XBR65X850D tv. All the statements had green check marks by the 4K TV setup check list when I had the HDMI input on the Sony set to "Enhanced".

    But now when the Enhanced mode is on the TV...I get video and audio break up...green lines....black screens....etc...

    Now the only way I can play is if I switch the Sony HDMI input at "Standard". Previously I was playing with this input switched to "Enhanced".

    I spent a lot of money on the Xbox One X and this TV to play in 4k.

    Would the HDMI cables work with an HD signal...but not with a 4K /UHD signal?

    Any input is appreciated.

    XBOX ONE X HDR look dark and blurry with "TCL 55P605" TV ?

    The TCL website has some instructions on how to configure your TV to let the Xbox One X fully utilize 4K: TCL | America’s Fastest Growing TV Brand

    Verify that your TV is capable of HDR by going to the Xbox One X display settings and open "4K TV details".

    In the Xbox One X display settings, ensure you have "color depth" set to at least "30 bits per pixel (10-bit)" to enable HDR.

    Xbox One X 4k Display on Monitor?

    I have an Acer B286HK monitor that is capable of displaying 4k resolution. My issue is that I can't seem to get my Xbox One X to display 4k through it, their customer support says it has to use a DP Cable...now from what I see the Xbox One X does not
    have a DP port to use, when I told them that THEN they tell me it won't work -_- There has got to be a way to get my Xbox to display 4k on a monitor that is 4k capable, if not this one I need suggestions.

    Hi,

    Please check your HDMI cable. Is it support HDMI 2.0? And did you enable HDMI ultra deep color on your TV.

    The star notates that it can be enjoyed on other displays, meaning that the display(TV) is not a 4K TV.

    Xbox one x going bad

    You don't necessarily need a 4k television to run the Xbox One X. It will still scale to any television display. 4k is just the maximum optimal display. You're good to go.
