4K Bluray Sound Sync Inconsistent

Just got my first 4k blu ray (The Martian: Extended Edition). Sound worked fine for a while, playing in Dolby Atmos on my 5.1.2 setup. Randomly went out of sync by a few seconds. I turned off the Xbox and restarted the show, skipping ahead to where i left
off, it played fine for a few minutes then went out of sync again.

This time i used rewind, went back about 10 seconds, and sound was back in sync. It continued to randomly play out of sync for the rest of the movie, if i used rewind or fast forward it would sync correctly. Sometimes it would work well for seconds, other
times it would go for 10 minutes. Sound System stayed in Dolby Atmos the whole time, audio receiver never gave any indication signal had changed or anything. the receivers display will show if the signal changes to a different format. I feel like it was entirely
the Xbox's fault.

I had issues with video stutter on my One & One S with standard bluray. I have only watched one other standard blu ray on my X (Moana), i was only half watching with my kids, but i don't think it went out of sync at all. I haven't had any issues with games,
or video streaming (netflix, vudu, hulu, etc). Everything is always in sync. This was so out of sync it could not be missed or ignored.

Any ideas on why this is happening? Or what i can try to fix it? I hate to change my setup, because everything else works great. But if i can't watch 4K blurays in Atmos that would be a serious disappointment in the Xbox One X.

i think you guys must add on xbox scorpio , 4k hdr bluray player, dolby atmos, dts x, sound

 

Cant play TrueHD sound from my blu rays on xbox one S

When will there be support for trueHD sound for playing my Bluray discs. I mean its quite rediculous to put in a 4k Ultra HD bluray player, without having support for True HD sound, and atmos and dtx for that matter.

So when is this update coming?

If not soon, give me my money back.

Are you able to try The Martian: Extended Edition on another 4K Blu-ray device to see if the same issue occurs there?

If you try a full
power cycle of your Xbox One Console, do you still experience the audio-sync issue?

Additionally, while not ideal, something we've seen some reporting users have success with is a

full factory reset of your Xbox One X console. Are you able to try that and let us know if you still experience this issue?
