    4k Bluray issues


    I have an issue with my xbox series x playing 4k UHD films. I have an lg cx oled t.v and when i play 4k disk it will play fine for a short time but then the video will just turn to a black screen and the audio can still be heard but no video. Its so frustrating.

    so the issue is the bluray player app in the microsoft store.

    it needs to be updated with the latest codecs.

    please update the bluray player app.

    Yes it runs other bluray and 4k uhd discs just fine. I found another thread with this issue being troubleshot that seemed abandoned.
