4K Blu-rays not working 0x91d70001

Microsoft: are there any updates on the question of specific 4K Blu-rays not working 0x91d70001 problem? I have a Deadpool disc not playing

4k blu ray not recognized

I just purchased Batman V Superman 4k uhd this evening, and had an issue. I received error code 0x91d70001. I tried the regular blu-ray and it worked fine. I went through all the trouble shooting on Microsoft's support site and still not working. So much
for a 4k blu ray player. When is this going to be fixed?

 

4k on normal blu ray it doesn't upscale

Games and Ultra blu ray is in 4k but normal blu rays are displayed in 1080p . all options are in 4k

 

Do you have xbox one or xbox one s? Only the xbox one s does 4k blu-rays

 

I have the One S. I have a dozen other UHD Blu-rays working perfectly, but Deadpool fails to start with the error 0x91d70001. The disc was replaced by the store but even the new one fails, so it's not the disc.

 

oh ok good! try in-install/re-install of the Blu-ray app.

You could also try both of these suggestions.

Hard reset by holding the power button down on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug everything for 5 minutes then plug it all back in and try again or...

a console reset by going to settings, all settings, console and updates then reset console and choose to keep everything then your console will reset and you will sign back in again then once your back at the home screen try the Blu-ray again.

 

I have just bought the Xbox one s today and done all updates etc, but now I have come to play a blu ray and download the app and I says there is a problem at our end. Try again later. I've been trying all day

 

There currently is a service alert for the Blu-ray app as seen here
support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status Scroll down the page to see the alert in the apps section. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

I've been having the same problem with Batman vs Superman (4KBR) disc

I have other 4Kbluray discs that work fine

Yes I have a Xbox One S

Yes I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Bluray app

Yes I've tried the hard reset

Yes I've had the retailer replace the disc with a new one

No it is still not working
