    4GB Xbox 360 hard drive issue.


    I have a 4GB Xbox 360 and I just bought Battlefield 4. I needed 2GBs to run it but I can only clear 1.1GB, yet the memory is empty but one file that has 513MB in it. Someone tell me how to clear it so I can have my storage back please!!!

    Hi,

    You cannot install this game on a Xbox 360 4GB console. On the back of the box it specifically states the following:

    In order to play this game on your 4GB console, you'll need either a minimum of a 4GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive, or an official Xbox 360 hard drive (250GB/320GB for your Xbox 360 S console).

    Forced to buy hard drive to play Battlefield 4

    The reason why I blame Microsoft is because the Xbox 360 Slim 4GB is advertised to have a 4GB HARD DRIVE when in fact it doesn't have a "hard drive" at all

    4GB Xbox 360 hard drive issue.

    The 4gb is not a hard drive,it's just an internal flash drive & can get full quite quickly with saves,updates etc.

    If I remember Battlefield wont work with the internal 4gb,you need an official Microsoft hard drive connected to your console.

    You cannot install this game on a Xbox 360 4GB console. On the back of the box it specifically states the following:

    Additional system requirements: Minimum USB 2.0 Flash Drive (formatted for Xbox) or Xbox 360 Hard Drive with 3 GB free space required for play. Hard drive sold separately for Xbox 360 4GB, and original Xbox 360 Arcade, Core consoles.
    In order to play this game on your 4GB console, you'll need either a minimum of a 4GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive, or an official Xbox 360 hard drive (250GB/320GB for your Xbox 360 S console).

    This is not an issue specific to Fallout NV. Because the 4GB internal memory is not an actual hard drive you will have this problem with any game. You will need an official Xbox 360 hard drive in order to install the game or it's DLC.

    Have done everything but factory reset my Xbox 360 and still can't get starwars battlefront to launch from live gold....help!!!!

    Make sure your Xbox 360 has an official Xbox 360 hard drive installed in the Xbox. The 4gb Xbox 360 does not have a hard drive. If it does not then that is the main reason why the game will not start.

    The hard drive is needed due to the fact the emulator files are stored on it.
