    Am i missing something? Ive tried to install a 250gb hard drive in my 4gb slim, and it isnt showing up. I cant see any docking "plugs" in the port. Will upload pics in a sec.

    Mikeyonone hey there 4gb Slim Hard Drive Installation Problems: No Docking "Plugs" :)



    You sure can. Infact the 4GB Slim is exactly the same as the 250GB slim, but without a hard drive. There is no hard drive at all inside the 4GB slim, its just 4GB of built in flash memory. You will be absolutely fine to plug in your 250GB hard drive with
    no problems at all.
    HERE     is a guide on how to uninstall and install the HDD for when the time comes.

    well the game size is about 4.5gb so a 4gb slim would be useless

    ALL 360 slims either 4 gig or the 250 and up models have the plugs inside for the hard drive to connect to (either when adding one to the 4 gig model or upgrading the 250 or 320 model to a 500 etc). did you pop open the access panel that the drive fits
