I installed Xbox Desktop using a PC.

When I installed the game for the first time, I directly chose slot D. After this happened, I wondered if the problem was caused by the change of the hard disk, so I reinstalled it in slot C for the first time, but the situation was still the same, I decided to install it back to the D slot again, after all, the D slot has a relatively large space.

The issue is the installation. Something is missing from the download that is keeping it from operating normally.

Just in case have you gone into Settings > Apps & Features > Apps > Find your game. Choose the ellipses or 3 dot menu button and open the advanced settings. Please try to repair or reset the app.

Online I've only found that moving the app has solved it for some but seeing that you downloaded it on another drive and got the same issue, seems it may be different.

Thank you for elaborating and yes, we don't want you to have to reinstall each game every time you wanted to play it. We can try the easiest thing first then get into troubleshooting. Did you try the same on your C:\ Drive and did it cause the same behavior? Are you in the Xbox Insiders for PC?

I am installing the PC version of the Xbox.

This problem comes from several games, the first time it happened, it happened when I just installed Minecraft and clicked start.

This was the case several times, the solution was that after I reinstalled the game, it worked again. But it doesn't work when starting the game next time.

I can't always have to uninstall the game and then reinstall the game to play, right?

The most recent issue with this issue was in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, and I was going crazy, and was about to play the last level, and it happened.



By the way, another weird problem, whenever I boot up. When opening the Xbox program for the first time, a black screen like an attachment appears. The workaround is to Ctrl+Alt+Del to close the program and then restart the Xbox and it will work fine. It's a baffling question, because it happens "every time".



ps. I have changed the game path to the D slot. I don't know if it has something to do with it? I think everyone is used to it. After all, the C slot is the exclusive home of the Windows system.
