.44 mag 3x's scope?

I don't see a need for a .50....just can't justify it, but I can justify a .44 Mag....which will be my next Handgun.....liking the D Eagle .44 ....wife saw one in my hand and said I should just do it cuz' it looks good....my wife is cool

 

Ah, the P250. I recently read up on that since they come in around the $500 mark. It's a true modular handgun design as the components are interchangeable. It's built around the fire control grouping which kinda looks like a "drop-in" trigger group, plus
some. A web site called "thetruthaboutguns.com" called the P250 a "Mr. Potatohead" pistol but they had good things to say about it. And yeah, all regular size framed 1911's have a single stack 8 round mag. By the way, it looks like Sig mags for the P250 are
around $46! Would you get a 1911 with or without a rail on the lower, if you had the choice. I'm leaning toward getting one with a rail.

1911s are way cool, and the .45 is just a great round. I would get one, but Ive been trained and put thousands and thousands of rounds down range with the Glock, so its my thing. Definately get the rail and the drab paint scheme, and the "sandpaper" grips,
and the night sights. The "tactical" model 1911s are way cool. Ive shot them in SWAT (other teamates), but I have to stick with the Glock. A single stack .45 Glock needs to be made! And Im talking a full size, not an ACP or anything. Do they make one now
for Glock?

 

Great input, man. I've got a Taurus .40 with a nickel finish and wood grips in a cherry color which is actually a full frame design that is based on the Beretta 92. After giving it more thought, I'm gonna keep it. I also already have a compact handgun chambered
for .380 ACP so I think I'll just end up getting a 1911 and forget all the other crap for now. I don't know about the Glock in single stack though.

What do you think of/know of Rock Island 1911's? I personally know a guy who owns one and also a Remington 1911. He said he honestly likes the Rock Island better than the Remington. He said his son has a Kimber and he even likes his RI better than the Kimber,
considering the money.

Kimbers are nice, but Springfield is the one you want. I think thats the "orignal". One of the guys had bought a tactical 1911 from them designed as I described earlier (drab color, rail, sights, grips) and it was a bit smaller than a traditional 1911, but
not a compact, just a tactical, and man was it nice. He had also purchased a Springfield modern M1/M14. It was synthetic stocked and had a 16 inch barrel and a forward setting ACOG type site. He did alot of countersniping for our SWAT team (and was a sniper
also, depended on the role we needed) but he could use that thing for entry work too with the 16 inch barrel. It was a beast chambered in .308. He had done some cool military stuff. He was in the Old Guard (Arlington cemetary) for a while waiting for Ranger
school. He was in our Color Guard too. Sharp.

 

Sounds way cool. I looked up the Springfield's and yeah, they must be a little smaller because they hold 7 rounds in the mag rather than the standard 8.

On another note, I'm a little surprised nobody picked up on/commented on my Digital Underground reference. hahaha

Last, today is Friday. I'll get my workout in, my errands to help my wife out, eat dinner and then it's ON. Time to play some BF4 and drink beer. Who's game?

 

I probably wont be on until 10 eastern or so unfortunately. I have a bunch of stuff to do after work today. Probably get some Domination in before the other guys log on to play HC Conquest.

I got busy Friday and couldnt make it, maybe this weekend? You using the Kinect to talk? I am going to wait for an adapter, I think they are out now.

 

Same here, man. Domestic duties and all. I didn't end up logging on until almost midnight Friday.

Oh, and that Turtle Beach adapter thing just came out last Friday. My local Best Buy and Game Stop stores are all sold out thought. When I called game Stop yesterday they said they just sold the last one earlier that morning. I then asked for the name and
address of the person who bought it but they wouldn't roll on 'em. lol

 

Final decision. I'm keeping all the firearms I have. By now they're totally off the radar anyway so it doesn't make sense to trade. ;-) I'll add a 1911 at some point.

Anyway, today is Friday. Who wants to game tonight? I've tried this several times but it never seems to work out. Sometimes it my own fault due to domestic responsibilities that keep me from logging on until late.
