    Getting error codes ever since the update came out on December 4. Pretty angry since I just bought 12 months of LIVE 2 weeks ago. Paid $60 and now I can't get online. Good work, Microsoft.

    I'm in the same boat.

    Connection test succeeds until the link from internet>XBL. As soon as it gets to here it tells me an update's required, I agree to it and I get the error.

    I've downloaded an unzipped the update to a USB drive, says it's extracting but nothing seems any diferent. I've also removed my profile to no avail.

    I've reset the network settings to factory defaults, no joy.

    Anyone have any other ideas?

    I have the same problem here and I login via PC and all my friends are online and playing I thought i was the only one. Thanks for sharing your XBL problem 42FC - 0000 - 0080 - 0300 - 8007 - 2751 :)

    I did the same thing you did and now i can´t even download my profile...

    Hey Guys .. I have the same prob with my xbox 360. I have restartet my router and check their ports - everything is good.

    I get this failure code 42FC-0000-0080-0300-8007-2751

    I have the same problem. Cleared cache, moved files for more space, restarted modem/router, restarted console and still no xbox live.... Stupid error code 42FC-0000-0080-0300-8007-2751 isn't even listed in the error code search! Seriously need a fix asap

    Here also..im in Niagara..Tried 4 Times shutting off the Console. It Downloads but then tries to upload on the nxt page to Live 3 Times and Errors out

    New update on mine, when I try to clear my cache and retry the update, it makes my hard drive "unformatted." This is the second time it's done that, the first time was after the previous update a few weeks ago.
