4 Xbox, same family - how to setup with 2 Xbox Game Pass Ultimate memberships?

Redeem the game pass ultimate on one of the kids accounts who has either Xbox 3 or Xbox 4, and then make the other Xbox the home Xbox, using that kids account with the Home Xbox setting.

If it's just Game Pass then at the end of the 2 weeks Game Pass will end and you'll just have your Gold subscription.

If it's Game Pass Ultimate it will convert the gold you have until Ultimate as well. If the message you're getting says "Joining Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will upgrade your remaining Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass membership(s)
into Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for the same amount of time, up to 36 months total. All conversions are final; conversion ratio subject to change." Then the 2 months of gold will upgrade so you will have over 2 months of Game Pass Ultimate.

When sign up to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate you Xbox Live Gold membership and Xbox Game Pass membership convert to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, actually the system clarify how many Months you will get for your active subscriptions. Then you can get back to the old
membership.

Same issue. I let my last game pass expire in April, setup a new Xbox Live Gold membership and upgraded it to Game Pass Ultimate. I now can't redeem any free games and get misleading Gold deals if I buy it directly or don't use the shopping cart on the web page.

Its like it forgot my gold membership (says cancelled on membership page) and won't include it or recognize "Game Pass Ultimate is upgraded Gold" anymore. I tried calling Xbox support and made zero headway with them.

At least the workaround will help with some discounts/deals, but doesn't really resolve not getting your new free game every 2 weeks.

Unfortunately once you upgrade your Gold membership to Ultimate Game Pass, you can never revert your account back to Gold. It is a decision that you need to make sure that you want to do. I actually earned a free month of Ultimate Game Pass that I am never
going to use because I read the fine print stating what I covered in the beginning. I have two years of Gold membership which would only be 8 months of Ultimate.
