4 random numbers after my Gamer Tag

So I checked on the official Xbox system that I am the only one with the Gamertag ASGI202 and yet its added a #2163 after my gamer tag which makes no sense because as said I am the only one with the tag so is there a way I can have Microsoft remove the random 4 extra numbers because they are REALLY annoying to see...I even wasted 20 dollars seeing if it would vanish if I swapped to a random gamer tag then back to my own and it didn't it just changed the 4 random numbers.

Damn even though I am literally the only one with the name. that's kinda lame I was told you only get the numbers if you have a name that others have...but I don't.

Yeah I put in a support ticket with Microsoft themselves to hopefully get the problem fixed they said thought that my gamer tag doesn't have the suffix on their end so I think it's just a glitch on my account.

Hey there Johnnie,

When issues like this occur, there’s usually something going on behind the scenes. It may be that the previous user of that gamertag was banned, making it unusable, or it has been voided from a previous account.

Unfortunately, there is no way to get around this. When the hashtags are given, it’s because you want a name that is already taken, not available, etc.

Removing the numbers isn’t an option, but changing your gamertag around a little bit will work. Sorry to hear you’ve spent so much on this.

So apparently.. When you create a microsoft account with Gmail or New Microsoft account... Xbox Live creates a random Xbox Live profile.. Thus a random gamer TAG.. That why all these randoms name and number tags.. In my case I was using my gmail to create
a Microsoft Account.. I went to the XBox profile and the gamer tag matched what it was showing on my PS4 random tag on the bottom left..
