4 Controllers all the the exact same drifting issue within 1.5 years.

I have 4 Xbox One controllers all with drifting issues and because they are over a year old Microsoft won't repair and customer service said I have to pay £45 per controller. This is an outrage, any other company with 4 of their products all having
the same issue would have offered to repair or replace the products free of charge as a good will gesture or atleast not charge almost £50 per controller when I can buy on eBay for less than that! You need to increase the warranty for controllers. The fact
that all 4 have the same problem Microsoft need a better way of addressing the problem and not tell customers to buy 4 brand new controllers! I was told to send my amazon receipt to have 1 controller 'possibly' repaired and I don't have the receipt for the
spare 2 I bought online which are just over a years old and being told to pay the cost for brand new ones. This is a joke!

Anyone else had a number of issues with these controllers?

Have bought 5 in 2 years and only 2 are still working.

The 3 others have all suffered from 'drifting'. One of which was replaced by Microsoft and then had the exact same issue. So that is a total of 4 handsets out of 6 that has suffered from drifting.

I bring this up cos Im pretty annoyed with not being assisted in its repair. It will cost me money to fix an issue which is clearly fault of the manufacturer. How the hell do they work this out?? I have to pay for faults that THEY cause??? Mental.

Each and every controller did exactly the same thing. If you dont touch any buttons, it would move as if you were pressing up on the analogue stick. How can a consumer do this to 4 controllers?? They cant. Microsofts answer.... "Pay us and we will fix
it." Not good enough!

 

Xbox one controller sticks drift

Alright, I havent ever been this upset with my xbox controllers. My xbox one controllers (yes both of my xbox one controllers) have the stick drifting problems. One of my controllers the left stick drifts forward when i dont touch it, and on my other controller
the right stick drifts upward. Now i could see why one of them may have that issue because ive had it for 2 years and has had alot of use. My other controller on the other hand i have had it maybe less than a year and it has the drifting issue. Not to mension
that the newer controller broke my quick charge kit because the pins for the micro usb werent properly allined in the controller. I hope that you take more time in fixing these issues within the controllers. I never had these issues with my 360 controllers.

 

i feel you on this issue. just under a year and i have 3 controllers with left analog stick issues. two of them have the drift issue and the most recent one is the elite controller that has a lot of play in it. with the tall ones on, the left stick has
about 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch of play before it actually starts to move. before i switched to xbox one i had a ps3 for 3+ years using the same controller and never one time had an issue with it. as of right now the elite one is being sent back to be "replaced"
with a new one.

 

All the controllers are problematic . Low built quality.

I had the same problem with LS .

I am still waiting for the replacement over a month now..
