Today we’re excited to bring a new feature to the Xbox App: 60 FPS game clip recording!

To use this feature, your PC will need to meet the following requirements:

    • Have a video card capable of 1080p60 encode.

    • Be running Windows insider build 14332 (current Fast ring build) or better.

    • Have the latest version of the Xbox (Beta) App: 15.16.25000.0.

    To enable this feature.

    1. Launch the Xbox (Beta) App.

    2. Navigate to Settings > GameDVR.

    3. Set the Video Quality to Very High.

    :)

Hmm actually I recorded the footage with 60 fps.

    [/quote]

Well if you are recording Xbox footage at 60 fps you should put it at 30 fps because that what BF3 runs at. Recording at 60 fps could cause desyncing.

How to remove black bars from xbox game bar clipping on windows 10

Yes, the recommended is 1366 x 768 (16:9), however I would prefer to play on a 4:3 ratio. usually, when I get good clips in games I use xbox game bar to clip since it drops not much FPS unlike other softwares. Before, I used to use medal however it would drop a lot and in medal clipping there was a feature that was "make clips stretch to 16:9" which would make my 4:3 clips get stretched to be 16:9 and I was wondering if this feature existed on xbox game bar

I am on laptop and I would prefer not to change my resolution, I am unsure if what I am asking for is stupid

How to recording 1080p60 on Xbox One S?

    Hi kuzmitchz,

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help.

You can record clips directly from your Xbox using the Game DVR feature in the Xbox One console. The default FPS setting is 60 Hz on the Xbox One, although most games are only developed in 30 Hz as that is the current limitations on consoles. The Xbox One
should record clips in the resolution you have set under the console's video output settings but you can also choose the resolution of the clips by pressing the
Xbox button to open the guide, and then go to
Broadcast & capture > Advanced settings.

Here is more information about how to record clips on the Xbox One: https://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/console/capture-game-clips-and-screenshots

    I hope this helps!

Choppy and laggy xbox gamebar gameplay being recorded on my windows 11 laptop.

I just played a game and recorded it , it was also pretty laggy and has audio latency sometimes in the clip , also the clip freezes and goes on every bit of the clip , also wanted to mention whenever i check my properties of the clip , it always shows full resolution and also 25 fps although i tried 30 and 60 but it never reaches these values.

    Xbox live captures on pc

    Hey Jason!

Thanks for reaching out to us today. Game clips on Xbox are recorded, edited, and shared from the Game DVR feature associated to the Upload Studio app. The Upload Studio app is the only way to upload and share clips that you recorded from Xbox or Xbox on
    Windows 10.

As of right now, I don't think there is a way to convert or transfer your recorded files that are captured using your internal graphics card. All clips are captured using the Game DVR feature and then edited and shared from Upload Studio.

    Look over our
Game DVR and Upload Studio on Xbox One
article online that goes over how to record and share clips on Xbox.

    Hope this helps!
