No. Microsoft has no affiliation with 3rd party sellers nor do they warranty any item that is manufactured by 3rd party.

Xbox Originals - Microsoft brand drive only way?

The firmware that is needed to play Xbox Original games is proprietary information that is registered to the Microsoft Corporation itself. As such they are under no obligation to share out the programming to 3rd party developers.

Any original game requires an official hard drive for the console in order to play. This is something that 3rd party sellers do not tell you in order to take advantage of the consumer.

    Xbox 1x Warranty in India

Was is a 3rd party seller on Amazon? It's possible that the warranty only covered from the time when the 3rd party purchased it to a year after that. Are you able to reach out to the seller on Amazon to question this?
