    Hi,

    after byuing a new console Xbox 360 I had the same problem described by fwu11. I spent many hours by seeking answers on internet. I tried all these recommendations - no success. Everything was solved after I had borrowed an original dvd from my friend.
    So my recommendation is: INSERT ORIGINAL DVD to your Xbox 360.

    I'm getting the same 3F45-0000-0080-0300-8007-045D error when trying to install new update too.

    I cleared the cache tried different connections and now it appears to load half of the update then I get same error again.

    This is getting ridiculous. Lets fix this Microsoft, and now!
