3D Rudder+ Xbox Adaptive Controller

I bought this:

and plugged it into the left usb of my adaptive controller but it doesn’t seem to work to control my left thumbstick. What shouod I do to set it up for use as a HOTAS, ( think that’s what it’s called) so that the pad on my rudder will act like tge thumbstick, ( Press like gas pedal to move forward, use heal to move backward, and twist the pad to turn directions)? Can I set it up on a Mac, as I don’t have a pc or will it be set up to function this way out of the box?

Hi there,

Sorry for the late response.

You can update the 3dRudder firmware on a Mac and use it as well as a foot mouse, but you won't access other functionalities.

Once you'll have updated the firmware, you'll be able to use it with the Xbox Adaptive Controller, mapping which axes of the sticks you want to have at the feet.

I tried that 3D Rudder and was the worst product ever. So slow and unresponsive.

I’d tell everyone to avoid it.

Hi Longarm,

I had to remap the control keys, and now rudder pedals are ok.

Steps:

Create a new profile for rudder pedals on Controls menù on Pro Flight CESSNA Rudder Pedals section.

Brakes

Left/right brake - Joystick L-Axis X /Joystick L-Axis Y

Flight Control Surfaces - Primary Control Surfaces

Rudder Axis - Left/Right - Joystick R-Axis Z

Now I missed switch panel / Radio Panel / Instrument panel, but I'm working on that.
