3D paint is automatically grouping everything after saving & re-opining, and I can't ungroup it

Please answer the following questions to assist you properly:
Is this happening on Windows 10 or 11?
Are you using an insider build for windows? Or are you using an stable OS?
When this started to happen? Do you know if the app or your system received an update recently?
or the opposite, please double check if your system and apps are up to date

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available (Install optional updates as well)

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates and update everything too.

In the meantime, besides resetting and repairing the app... Did you tried something else?
This is to giving you different troubleshooting steps or tell you how to proceed

Ahhhh, you will have to go into that vinyl group in "My Vinyl Groups" load it , then "ungroup" that vinyl, save, then gift.

But all it says is "It looks like you don’t have any applicable device(s) linked to your Microsoft account. To install, sign in on a device with your Microsoft account."

I assume this is for Windows 10, if so the link above will help.

You can't install it on the Xbox.

Thanks for the reply! What type of device are you attempting to install
Paint 3D on? As our Ambassadors have already stated, the game itself is only installable on PC or other Windows 10 devices (tablets, etc.) as stated on the game page. Sadly, this is not available on any Xbox console.

In general, if you're having trouble installing any app or game onto your Windows 10 device, then you may wish to try the following to see if it helps:

Method 1:

Run the Store troubleshooter
and check if that helps. Here is the link:
