3D Movies look horrible on Xbox One!!

Tried watching Spiderman 2 in 3D on my Xbox One and it looked horrible!!! At first I thought I received a bad copy but when I rehooked my 3D blu-ray player up, it played fine. Anybody else have this problem??

Blu Ray player issue

I am trying to play a 3D movie on my xbox one. the movie plays however it is not in 3d, it looks like a normal blu ray. i tried my ps3 and ps4 and it works fine on them. any idea why it wont work on the xbox one, or what i can try. i already checked
setting and 3d is turned on for the xbox one.

3D movies on disc but not compatible through app?

I have played 3D movies with 3D blu-ray discs on the Xbox One (connected to a BenQ 3D projector), but when I try to play a 3D movie I downloaded through the Vudu app, it claims the device is not compatible. Is the Xbox One capable of playing 3D movies through
apps, or does it only work with discs? Thanks

 

I cannot even get a movie to play properly. I could only enable 3d if I set it to 720p. I set it back to 1080p and tried to play a disney 3d movie. No luck. I set it back to 720p and I could get the movie to play, but it wasnt in 3d.

It would seem that this patch did not truly enable 3d.

 

I too tried to watch The Amazing Spider-man in 3D but the 3D only works when you select it at the settings but when you want to go home it turns off the 3D and plays the 3D disc to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in regular Blu ray format. I was so looking forward
to watching Spider-Man in 3D.

 

I tried Captain America The Winter Soldier in 3D, the movie kept freezing for about a second at random intervals. Also if I back out to the Home Screen while in 3D playback I could clearly see why 3D Blu-rays are not looking good on the X1. The X1 lowers
it colour bit depth to something that looks like it's from a early 90's bitmap image. It's clearly not outputting 24bit colour let alone the 36 bit I set it to because my TV is capable of it.

Please fix this Microsoft.

 

I just returned my dvd player I got for my birthday because I saw the update allowed you to play 3d movies. What it should say is it will play 3d movies in standard 2D format. Way to screw up Microsoft! Now I have no 3D dvd player because you lied about
the capability. Put out a new update that actually projects our 3D movies in 3D. Did you think no one would notice? You're too focused on making money and not enough on putting out a staisfying product.

 

Do you guys have a 3D TV? I just bought the xbox one and I have a 3D TV also. I haven't tried watching a 3D movie yet, but was wondering if that might be the problem.
