3D Bluray Glasses

No matter how much I search no one will answer this question for me about 3D bluray? Do I need certain glasses for it, or will the ones from any 3D bluray player work? Because I've never seen any distinct Xbox One or Microsoft 3D glasses such as the
ones that were available for the PS3.

Kinect interferes with 3d glasses

Thought my rechargeable 3d glasses were goosed until I have just realised that the kinects infrared interferes with the signal from the telly to switch the glasses on. Looked at the kinect sensor guide which says this. USE WITH INFRARED DEVICES The Kinect
sensor may interfere with or degrade operation of infrared devices, including remote controls and 3D glasses. If you notice interference or reduced range, please try repositioning the Kinect sensor or infrared device. So how do they plan to run bluray 3d.
Surely the Xbox one needs a 3d feature that switches off kinects infrared. Regards mark

X1 Kinect IR Interference

Your controller/console was bugged, but the 3D glasses WILL get interference because they also use IR. Get proper cinema 3D glasses if you want 3D.

The ps3 glasses were advertised with the gimmick "optimised for gaming specifically on the ps3".

Yet they were fully compatible with all TVs and blurays, without the need to do anything to change "their optimization".

I seriously doubt ps3 glasses were any different to any available on the marketplace, except much more expensive.

My advice, stick to the free ones or buy some cheap ones first and see if you like them.

With new 3d HDR formats and more 3d blurays than ever being released this is just a shame. 4k is going to have 3d as a standard since you'll get passive full HD resolution with cheap glasses then. This is just short sighted and a shame that neither MS nor
Sony care enough about this group to work on an easy patch for it.

Xbox does support some.3d blurays bits it's a dying standard

Because instead of being 1 standard you have 3 different glasses and very few consoles support even one

Sorry to say 3d is on its way out , there was never the interest in it the way they hoped . you had to wear stupid glasses and sit in a chair facing the tv or you wouldn't see all the 3d effects plus buy expensive 3d bluray players and discs . making 3d
games would of been good but now the future is 4k , I would be very surprised if any of the consoles put 3d on there systems , they need to sort out 5.1 dolby digital before anything else pcm is rubbish .

Sorry, but nowhere on that google search does it confirm that the system will play 3d bluray. There is confirmation it has a bluray drive and there is confirmation it will support 3d but this may only mean 3d games as supported by the xbox 360.

Currently a dedicated 3d bluray player (or a ps3) is required to play 3d films, you cannot do it with any old bluray drive, so whilst I would be highly surprised if it does not play them, there still has not been confirmation of this.
