    we've just bought a new 3d projector and screen for our theatre room and bought star trek in 3d to watch tonight, 3d blu ray :( we were under the impression that the xbox one played 3d bluray movies.

    has this still not happened? we can play normal blu ray movies fine

    3D Blueray Player Update

    I updated my system about 1 hour ago and can not play Blu-ray 3d movies, what is says is

    The Blu-ray disc requires a 3D Blu-ray player connected to a 3D display, your 3d Blu-ray player has not detected that it is connected to a 3d display. This may be due to a display capability or a equipment connection issue. please consult your 3d player
    manual.

    I am running a new 3D led Samsung tv

    3d blu ray

    Have you looked to see if the 3D is enabled? go to settings > display & Sound and see if there's a tick in the 'Allow 3D' box.

    Were having a look at that section now and the Allow 3D box isn't even lit up, we cant go on it to select it

    It plays 3d blurays on my 3d tv , I don't know about projectors tho .

    How is your projector hooked up? through HDMI? I don't know much about projectors but maybe it's got something to do with that because the 'allow 3D' shows up for me on my 3DTV.

    Watched a 3d bluray this weekend on our projector and it worked perfectly, the Xbox one even automatically put the projector in 3d mode.

    Well the xbox one include 3D blu ray

    Microsoft has only said it has a Blu Ray player in it. No info on if its a 3D ready blu ray drive or just standard

    And before anyone starts..... supporting 4K and 3D does not imply 3D Blu Ray ready Drive.
