3d Blu-ray won't play on my Xbox one X

I recently upgraded to the One X and was really happy with it that was until I tried to watch a 3d movie and as you probably know already .... no picture and a real disappointment no matter what I try nothing works I have done factory reset uninstalled the
Blu-ray app and installed it again but no luck

I'm very disappointed with this as I had to upgrade my TV to 4k as well and it took a long time to find a 4k 3d one with the death of 3d

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have a large 3d movie collection and a swanky new TV to watch them on but the one X seems like a total waste of time as a movie player

Oh and my old Xbox one played 3d films no problem at all

Blu- Ray 3D & HDDVD

I want Blu-Ray 3D support as well on the Xbox One.

I don't have any other 3D Blu Ray player in my home. I specifically bought Gravity 3D edition so I could watch it on my Xbox One... Microsoft - I'm still waiting!!!!

I don't get why we are waiting as well... surely enabling 3D within the Blu-Ray application would be a quick job???

 

3D Blu-ray movies no longer play in 3D mode

almost same issue with me. 2 or of my 25 3D blu ray movies won't play. The whole screen good black only on those 2. Everything else works fine. And ALL 3D movie play fine on ps3. MS rep told me it's because Xbox one x is so powerful that the movies don't
meet the minimum system requirements . Seriously??
