3D Blu Ray Stuttering

I see a few threads about 3D playback, but haven't found one with my issue. Shortly after beginnig a 3d movie, the movie seems to speed up. I think the best way to describe it is it looks similar to whats refered to as "soap opera mode." The movement in
the video resembles the camera work on soap operas. After a bit of playing live me this, the picture freezes and audio continues. I can return to the Xbox menu using the xbox button, but when I move into any other app the Xbox Will stutter. after turning
off the Xbox the TV all returns to normal, but playing a 3d movie still yields the soap opera effect.

A bit about my setup: my tv is an LG passive 3d TV. Image stabilization (I believe it's called de-judder or something along those lines, turning it on creates the "soap opera effect") is turned off, the Xbox is labeled as a PC in the television settings
which does not allow the stabilization to be used. I've changed the color depth settings in the xbox menu but still yielded the same results.

Has as anyone faced a similar issue?

3D Blueray Player Update

I updated my system about 1 hour ago and can not play Blu-ray 3d movies, what is says is

The Blu-ray disc requires a 3D Blu-ray player connected to a 3D display, your 3d Blu-ray player has not detected that it is connected to a 3d display. This may be due to a display capability or a equipment connection issue. please consult your 3d player
manual.

I am running a new 3D led Samsung tv

 

I've not had the same motion problem you're describing as such, movies play generally smoothly but occasionally stutter and then seem to speed up just for a few moments to catch up or something?

It's not constant (didn't see it at all with DREDD, only happened once during Prometheus but happened several times during Winter Soldier for some reason). It's annoying, mainly because every time it happens I worry the film is about to hitch up and just
stop on me! Hope it's a software thing and can be ironed out with an update.

 

Same problem here. The stuttering/pausing is the most annoying thing, but I also noticed the kind of "pan and scan" video smoothing/soap opera effect as well. After waiting 10 months for the 3d support, you'd think it would work without a problem!
