    3D Blu ray issues


    Hi,

    Sorry posting this separately as I saw a post suggesting that another user should do the same. I'm having an issue with 3D blu's where menu's work fine for certain films (Ant Man, Wreck It Ralph and Guardians of the Galaxy tested) but then the main event
    just goes back to 2D. Not the same on all films either which is very odd, Batman vs Superman plays fine. Previously been working absolutely fine, same setup works in PS4 without an issue but would prefer to use the Xbox One if I can because of poor remote
    support with PS4. Tried changing settings from Auto to HDMI, 50hz on and off, reset the console, uninstalled and reinstalled the Blu ray app, changed HDMI cable nothing works.

    3D Blueray Player Update

    I updated my system about 1 hour ago and can not play Blu-ray 3d movies, what is says is

    The Blu-ray disc requires a 3D Blu-ray player connected to a 3D display, your 3d Blu-ray player has not detected that it is connected to a 3d display. This may be due to a display capability or a equipment connection issue. please consult your 3d player
    manual.

    I am running a new 3D led Samsung tv

    How do they play are they side by side - up down or standard on top 3D?

    all mine play fine in 3D mode, also games are fine in 3D stereoscope active glasses not passive.

    after your menu when play is pressed when you say it reverts to 2D.

    It plays as if it were a 2d movie so no side by side or anything like that, perfectly watchable just not in 3d. Seen other threads with exactly the same isue

    IMHO a stand alone Blu-Ray player is always going to do a better job of playing Blu-Rays than a console. As you already own the 3D Blu-ray player what's the issue?

    Thor 2 Blu-Ray not playing

    Well it won't play 3D blu-ray. If any other blu-ray, DVD, game disc work fine, the issue is with the thor regular version.

    Well the xbox one include 3D blu ray

    Microsoft has only said it has a Blu Ray player in it. No info on if its a 3D ready blu ray drive or just standard

    And before anyone starts..... supporting 4K and 3D does not imply 3D Blu Ray ready Drive.

    Xbox One supports 3D Blu-ray discs when played on 3D TVs. Try checking whether there are any updates for The Blu-ray player app
