    3D 1080p Blu Ray's no longer work


    After a year or so I decided to play the Hobbit in 3D but I got a message saying my setup was incorrect, which it wasn't as I have 3D telly. Tried launching with TV already on 3D but still same message before exiting the

    If it just went to 3D blu ray menu I know it works but now after updates I guess it has messed up with a glitch stopping us being able to play 3D discs.

    Surley this has an easy fix by updating it as I have been forced to buy a blu ray player for £94 when I specifically got an Xbox to replace the player.

    So frustrated that there's no talk of a fix

    Any tips on bypassing the screen that incorrectly says 3D setup not right before exiting blu ray ??

    The Xbox One does play Blu-Ray and DVD, but keep in mind *3D Blu-Ray's will not work*.

    3d blu ray problems

    After a LOT of troubleshooting, I've managed to find a temporary fix.

    This works EVERYTIME on my LG 55UH8500 3d tv and Xbox one S:

    Turn off 4k and hdr in settings, set display to 1080p - and all 3d blu ray discs play as expected.

    The same happened with me. 3D blu-ray now works, but it's really choppy, making the movies unwatchable. Will this blu-ray app update combined with the august update help the movies run smoother? It would be nice to be able to put away the 3D blu-ray player
    and just use the One for movies.

    Agreed. Currently I have to put my 3D Blu-ray movies into the PS3. I have quite a few Blu-rays that have the 3D and the 2D versions on the same discs. Those don't work as well.

    Well it won't play 3D blu-ray. If any other blu-ray, DVD, game disc work fine, the issue is with the thor regular version.
