375 GBs of HDD space

I un-installed all the games in my 500 GB HDD and it is already down to 307 GB.

The only games that are in the HDD are Destiny and Zombi.

How many games were you able to fit in your 500 GB HDD before it got filled up?

The Xbox One has a 500 GB HDD, but only 375 GBs is usable.

My Xbox One has 231 GBs of storage space left and I don't have an External HDD yet.

My Xbox 360 has 160 GBs of storage space left.

Xbox One games take up about 40 to 50 GBs of HDD space.

Xbox 360 game take up about 6 to 8 GBs of HDD space.

You only get 365 GBs of HDD space, not 500 GBs after setting-up your console.

You only get around 700 something GBs of HDD space with the 1 TB HDD.

Just curious, did you uninstall all your apps, music, and videos too?...I am curious how much the whole "newer" OS takes up on the HDD when there is nothing else installed.

why did you uninstall everything? Seeing as you created another post about getting an external drive, you couldve used the move function to move them to the external drive instead.

I think i've got 30 or so games installed and have just under half my 1tb drive left (external).

I've just got an 1tb, it had I think 780gb free space without anything on it, shocking

I'd like to know how M$ justify 20% of the advertised hdd being unavailable! More to the point, the OS is the same regardless of hdd size therefore if you only have 375gb free on a 500gb model, then surely you have 875gb free on a 1tb model?!?! Where is
the missing 95gb's???

MS dont have to justify anything, as stantard a 500GB Harddrive will come with 450GB of space available to use then MS reserve 75GB for all 3 of the Operating Systems they use on the xbox one, for instance i recently got a 5TB Seagate HDD, without installing
anything on it, the drive only had 4.5TB available to use, for every 500GB you only actually get 450GB, Hence why i lost 500GB of the 5TB drive.
