    360s xbox live


    I just bought a used xbox 360s and it works fine with 1 exception. I cannot sign in to my Microsoft acct. I've tested my connection and it appears fine, but when I test the live connection, it appears to pass but a service alert caution is displayed.
    When I go to my acct, there isn't any service alert. It won't accept the microsoft acct password and keeps acting like a forgotten password but I know the password to my microsoft acct is correct, even verified on my pc. I've reformatted the hard drive,
    done initial setup and reset the wireless. I'm stumped. And it plays games fine and appears not to have any other problem other than not accepting the password and a service alert that doesn't exist. Any ideas?

    are they going to shut down xbox live on xbox 360 when xbox one is out

    Pretty sure if they shut xbox live out for xbox 360 then Microsoft would lose a lot of money. Xbox 360 will live on in the Xbox Live world.

    The Xbox 360 cannot actually connect to Xbox Live as per the list of countries that the Xbox Live service is available in. While Xbox Live is available in China, its only for PC/Xbox One and the Xbox 360's Xbox Live is no longer available or never was in
    the first place as denoted by the asterisk next to China on the list.

    Uruguay is not part of xbox live regions so you can't purchase from xbox store

    As stated in the support page regarding xbox live regions:

    You will need to purchase an Xbox Live Gold subscription individually to use it on your Xbox 360.

    Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is not compatible with Xbox 360, so the Xbox Live Gold that comes with it cannot be used on Xbox 360.
