360S wifi not working

Have read all of the forum posts related to this and nothing is working. Most are over a year old and was hoping there is some new light on this subject. Ive reset modem, unplugged xbox, plugged back in and nothing. All other devices pick up wifi just
fine. My xbox is quite a few years old and my wireless router is brand new from century link. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks

360s Built in Wifi

The Built In Wifi On these slims SUCK!

They cannot even pick up a 5Ghz connection!

I actually plug in my wireless adapter instead of using the damn built in!

HoneyMonster900, unplug the power cord at the back of the console and wait 30 seconds, then power back up. It can take up to two minutes to re-recognize all the wireless signals once you do
Settings | System Settings | Network Settings.

I'm having the same problem. It works fine on my Xbox one but not my 360. Can't log in, can't connect to wifi, and it keeps saying it's my wifi, but it's connected and fine. They need to fix this

Update. I unhooked my 360 wifi adapter and plugged the 360 straight to the modem and now, for the most part, it works flawlessly. Me so stupid.

Only the official Microsoft Wireless adapters will work the 360. There is no native support or drivers for WiFi adapters used on PCs.

Thank you for notifying me! By the way, my WiFi adapter works, but only sometimes, is there anything I should do, like possibly order a new one? Like if I leave my 360 unplugged for about a week and I boot it on the WiFi works for about four minutes and then it doesn't recognize it.
