Hey, I was just wondering if Xbox 360 title prior to the annocement of all future 360 games for gold being backwards compatible. Will prior 360 games for gold Be backwards compatible at any point for example battlestations Pacific which I believe was a game
for gold a month or so prior to it being launched

Games with Gold Titles Included in Backward Compatibility

When backward compatibility launches in November, all future Xbox 360 Games with Gold titles will be playable on Xbox One. That means Xbox Live Gold members now will get more free games to play each month on Xbox One.

Question about Games with Gold X360 backwards compatibility

Ace Combat Assault Horizon is available on the Deals with Gold (used to be Deal of The Week). This is not Games with Gold. As previously stated it is currently not backward compatible. keep checking the back compat pages here

It's also possible it could be like it was prior to backwards compatibility being a thing. They did add games for the 360, but they could only be played on the 360. I guess we'll find out.

from what I've heard about Backwards Compatibility, it has been put on hold while the Xbox Scarlett is being developed but the plan is to have all games on the Xbox platform backwards compatible on the Scarlett. this may include making all games from the
OG Xbox and 360 on the Xbox One
