360e only works upstairs? Won't downstairs?

So for some reason, four months ago my slim stopped working, bought replacement 360e which also doesn't work? Turns out, both work upstairs in my house but not downstairs? Everything else works downstairs?

Won't load

My Xbox one won't load any of my 360 games past the 360 loading screen. It only works if I'm not signed in, and once I try to sign in, the 360 menu won't load. And the thing is, they all worked fine last weekend, but now the backwards compatible games won't
load past the freakin' 360 menu. Can someone help me?

I cant play my GTA IV on my console!

Games for Windows games only work on PC, they won't work on your Xbox 360. If you want to play it on Xbox 360, you'll need to buy the Xbox 360 copy.

Support keep telling me to replace them, they work fine upstairs? Should I spend loads on an electrician just to be told the power is fine? Possibly?

Have you tried a different electrical outlet downstairs? I would assume you have more than one. Try plugging something else into the outlet. (These really are the most basic tests you could have done prior to posting this.)

Your downstairs outlets most likely are not working. You could have tripped there breakers or they we never actually wired correctly. I would check them first. Your Xbox is not your problem.

There is only one router, Just using a wired connection (Both the upstairs and downstairs)

What I meant is when I setup my xbox downstairs I use a different internet cord (Which is hooked up to the same router) and it works then. When I move it to my upstairs, I use a different cord (Which is also hooked up to the same router) but it does not
work.

I got it working finally, but the only problem now is my internet is slow. would it work if the laptop is downstairs and the xbox is upstairs? don't know how to use the forums that well
