360 won't play Xbox games

I have an Xbox 360 S with a 250gb hard drive. I am trying to play SW: KOTOR but it keeps saying it can't play and to download it again (its a disc)

I have tried all the suggestions, clear the cache, delete the update and reupdate, format hard drive, tried different Xbox, tried different hard drive, tried different discs, tried different games. Hard reset, restored system defaults. I am not sure what
to do?

XBox 360 Won't Play Newer Games

Sorry if someone has already asked this question...

My xbox 360 seems to be having a problem with reading newer game discs. At first I thought it was the discs and then I thought it was my system. But all my older games work, the problem only seems to be happening on the newer releases, such as FEAR 3 and
LA Noire. The system will start to access the disc and then drop back to the dash board and prompt me to play CD.

Is there something about the formating on the recently released games that older 360 systems have trouble reading?

Just a quick reply about part of your question, all 360 games will work on any console it does not matter how old they are.

My console will not read my disc.

 

If you are using a third-party hard drive that isn't officially certified and sold by Microsoft, it cannot be used for installing original Xbox games.

Also ensure your Xbox 360 is fully updated, and your game is supported for backward compatibility on the Xbox 360.
