360 won't connect to live or download update

I have tried to download the new update and my Xbox won't complete the update. It also says I can't connect to live either. I told Xbox through the chat what it was doing and the code that was coming up. They said someone would call me to help figure it
out in 10-15 minutes. That was 2 days ago! I still can't get the update to load or connect to live. I have tried every way to load the update and have reset and cleared everything and still nothing. No one has been able to tell me what the code is either.
The code is 40A3-0000-0080-0300-8007-0570. Any help would be appreciated

Hard drive brocken?

I have an Xbox 360 slim 4 gb and the hard drive will not format. It won't download any more updates and cannot connect to xbox live. What should I do?

 

Connecting to Internet but not to Live

I wasn't able to connect to Live while my profile was signed in. However, when I signed out, then it did connect. I thought maybe I should delete my profile and download it again. I deleted my profile, but now t it won't let me connect to Live at all.....except
it forced me to download an update....

It's connecting enough to download updates, but won't let me download my profile or otherwise access Live... Any ideas?

(I spent several days on the connection help page first going through the suggestions there with no result.)

I got the status code: 40A3-0000-0080-0300-8007-0570 as well. I hope someone figures out a fix soon.

 

I have the original console with the built in 4GB memory unit and a 32GB flash drive. I tried a bunch of things but the thing that seemed to kick the update into gear was turning off the console, unplugging the power cord, tapping the power button on the
console while still unplugged, and leaving it like that for 1 min. When plugging it back in and restarting it, got the system update message again, accepted, and this time was able to get the system update downloaded.
