360 wired controller vibration issue

My 360 wired controller constantly loses vibration after each PC reboot. When it does, it lights top-right green sector of the circle (normal state is top-left). A simple re-plug fixes it, however it is very bad solution. I mean, if I reboot computer few
times a day, I should re-plug it each time. I wonder for how long my usb port will last at this rate.

Also just before writing this it started to flash (blink) full circle (all 4 sectors) in the middle of the game. Everything works still, but vibration is gone again.

I own this controller for few days and nothing could happen to cable in this time (it rests on the table without movement), so it is clearly not the problem in the issue.

How can I fix it?

I tried different ports, installed latest updates, performed driver uninstallation. Still no vibration after reboot.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help.

Have you tried all of the available USB ports on your PC? Your description seems like the controller is losing connection and when it re-connects, the vibration feature does not fully re-connect. When all 4 sectors flash that indicates it's re-connecting,
and the top right sector indicates the controller is re-assigning to Player 2.

I recommend first restarting your PC and then checking for any Windows updates to also make sure the drivers are up to date. If Windows has the latest update, then try manually re-installing the drivers. Open up your device manager and go to the game controller
section and right click on the connected USB device and select uninstall. Unplug the controller and restart the PC. Once you reconnect the controller, the drivers should automatically re-install.

Ok cool, so there is potenitially an app to customize the controller settings.

This still doesn't explain why the controller won't vibrate when used wirelessly. I know for certain the xbox 360 receiver works perfectly, and that a wired xbox one controller does too. So does it not make sense that we have a real issue with vibration
on a wireless xbone controller?

Can somebody else have the issue I have? Can anybody else confirm a broken vibration feature?

I did that cut the wires, NO more vibration, controller works fine, on my old 360 controller it was easier to open it up an I used to take that rumble pack right out..

The controller I use currently is wired, and as I stated, it vibrates on the other accounts, but not this one. And it does always has vibration checked as enabled, but it just doesn't vibrate for that account.
