360 Unable to connect to online

So I can't connect to the online part of the game, no error code comes up, a prompt just shows up saying that I need to update the game to access online. I've tried clearing my system cache. I've tried redownloading the game and install data after clearing
my system cache and no update prompt appears. Anyone know a solution to this?

i'm in the same boat. Some apps seem to work.. like Netflix, but can't see friends online. Can't play Destiny. wtf!?? Also Xbox 360 unable to connect to XBL at all.

The konami servers are in horrible shape. I can connect on my Xbox one but it makes my idroid lag and at a certain part in the game related to fob it makes the game unplayable connected. So I play offline. I'd recommend just holding tight and wait until
konami gets it under control. Trust me you aren't missing much by connected to the server.

 

Newton, did you happen to buy yours from Games on Demand like I did? I've been searching the web and a lot of us who bought it from XBL have the same specific problem with that nonexistent update.

 

Second post, just figured out the update thing. I finished the FOB invasion intro for the first time then restarted the game. It updated. Apparently that part doesn't even download until you've done the relevant mission in story mode. Haven't actually connected
to a server yet but at least now we know why it does that.
