    i am trying to live stream my xbox 360 game to teitch. I have everything i could possibly need but cannot seem to get it going. Ive looked online, ive found people and articles saying i need to download the “twitch” app or the “twitchtv” app on my 360
    but i cannot find it anywhere. It suggestes i search internet explorer. I woild really like some light shed on my situation. Can i still get the app on my 360? If so, how? If not, anyone know how i can stream my 360 to my twitch?

    It could be an issue with the twitch apps, if so, then you will need to contact twitch about it. As for the service alert on the Xbox 360, that's a bug. Pretty much every Xbox 360 is showing there is one even if there isn't.

    Also you do not need a gold subscription to access twitch.

    Yes I have authorized the Xbox 360 with Twitch several times. It still doesn't work. Twitch says it's not them. Clearly other people continue to have the same problem. It's the Xbox that isn't connecting to the Twitch servers.

    This 100% worked for me on 360... if you go into the twitch app and scroll over to settings it will ask to link your twitch account through twitch.tv/activate.. as soon as i did that it worked right away... i have not been able to watch twitch in 2 months
    on my 360 so this should be a huge help to the community!!!

    This has gone on 9-10 days for me. It's not a twitch thing, it's for sure an xbox 360 thing. The same thing happened about a year ago and finally xbox fixed it. It is xbox 360 not connecting to the twitch stream servers.
