360 to Xbox One digital upgrade

Has anyone had any success doing this yet? On Xbox One it doesn't recognize that I have purchased it on 360. Will I have to wait until Tuesday to actually do it?

It automatically installed the Season Pass I purchased. Do I just have to wait for the non Day Zero edition to become available?

Talking to the customer support guy on chat he said that the servers at MS have to update and then it should allow you to download. The reason why the season pack was automatic is because it is a subscription, not a game. For the game it had to verify you
actually bought the 360 version before giving you the free upgrade. He also said that the most it should take is 24 hours and suggested power cycling the One every 2-3 hours to clear system cache and temp files so it would actually check and not load from
cache. Hope this helps...

You may be right McQueen. Don't shoot the messenger. Just reporting what I was told... I'd be curious to know what they tell you. if you don't mind share what they tell you when you finally get to chat.

I would definitely mention the fact that Destiny was instant..

They announced the free upgrade for digital purchases a few days before launch. You can find the presser here:
www.destinythegame.com/digital-upgrade It is very cool that Bungie did this for their fans. And you can also get a free upgrade to the Xbox One of the Expansion Pass if you purchase
it from the Xbox 360.
