360 to XB1 All digital?

if they are physical copies the only way is with the disc, so you won't be able to use them with the all-digital. Otherwise, digital games will migrate automatically, you'll just have to reinstall them.

As mentioned above,

If your son owns them all on disc then he will not be able to play them on an all digital console. So it depends if you'd like to get him a console with a disc drive that way he can play all his games still, while still having the option to purchase digital
content as well.

But if he has them all digital on the 360, it will just be a case of him installing them on his xb1, granted that its backwards compatible. But they will appear in 'ready to install' or by searching in the store on the console, looking at the backwards compatible
section and installing the game that way.

This should of been on the 360 years ago, but in glad I'll start my digital collection of RE titles on my XB1 in 2015.

I will always keep my 360 around for my Digital Resident Evil collection on there.

RE4, 5, 6, Code Veronica & Revelations.

Now hopefully over the years all those will come to XB1.

Thanks Zbox. Yeah the 360 games are all disks. Just started doing digital with XB1 but may go back to buying physical disc for that reason
