360 to One

    360 to One


    I'm pretty stoked that MS decided to make the One backward compatible with 360 games. Now I know that I will upgrade to the One this year. My question is, how can I transfer any saved data from my 360 to the One? The thing is, I'm planning to trade in my
    360 so I can get a discount on the One so I won't have both in my possession at the same time to do a data transfer via a cable. Anyone have any info?

    Xbox 360 to One to 360.

    Okay, I bought my One and have played CoD Ghosts on it since launch. However, my Sister has a Xbox 360. If I play or log in to her Xbox 360 will my stats for the game go to the system with all my unlocked weapons and such? And if so, when I re-log back
    into my Xbox One will the things I did on the Xbox 360 transfer back over to my One.

    While I do agree that we should be able to prove that we do have a disc version of a game to get it transferred digitally to the xbox one, I don't think rockstar would do that. I am certain they will make it full price on the XBOX One, owning the game on
    the XBOX 360 or not, disc or digitally downloaded. the part I don't think I will notice is the smoothness on the XBOX One. I know the game is suppose to run more stable on the One, but it runs perfectly fine on my 360, so I guess if anything, Ill just see
    animals and maybe some wind as a difference.

    Not worth the 60 bucks if you ask me.

    The link above is not yet updated.

    Your eligible games will be downloadable by putting in the disc in the console. Games downloaded via the Marketplace will be in your game section on Xbox One.

    The games you put on to the Xbox One will retain the save (at least mine have).

    So things that carry over will do so automatically.

    Leo is right. Games saves just need to be saved to the cloud in order to access them from the One.

    Leo: Thanks for the info! So since everything (or all eligible content) I bought via the Marketplace should be available through the One, is there any data that I need to move temporarily to a flash drive or cloud drive?

    Anything that will carry over to the One should automatically show up as ready to install or will show in the cloud storage when you try to pull up a save for backwards compatible games. Otherwise you can't manually move anything between the consoles using
    a flash drive or other device.

    Problem with running Forza Motorsport on xbox 360

    If the game is made for the One it will only work on the One. 360 games can work on the One, but One games do not work on the 360. You would have to purchase the 360 version to play it on the 360.

    I have no problem paying full price as I know the amount of time and enjoyment that I'll get out of it in both single player and online will be worth it. But I can't help but think that they could offer some sort of price discount for returning players similar
    to what Minecraft Xbox One Edition had for owning the 360 Edition. I guess the greed is too strong.
