    360 to One Transfers


    Hello,

    . There's some stuff I want to take off my old 360hd to put on my One, but I cant figure out how to do it, and I've read as much as I could...

    . So clearly the Transfer cab,e thing doesn't work right? It won't even show any drive when its plugged in. Unless its broke. I bought it at GameStop.

    . I no longer have my 360, so doing that save your stuff to the cloud is a no go, and no I don't know anybody else who still has their 360 to borrow to upload anything.

    . I tried to plug the trans cable box into my laptop, but it wouldn't see the drive either. I was hoping I can transfer what I needed onto a USB or DVD or something, but that seems like a fail too.

    . So is my stuff locked onto the 360hdd? I understand the backward compatibility list thing, so when I go to my games on the one, is that all I can re-download and transfer? What about all my dlc like for Skyrim for example? (not on comp list, just an
    example) and all the rest of my maps for all my other games. (like old school rainbow 6 Vegas, which is on the comp list,or all my defiance stuff). Most importantly though, what about all my avatar stuff! I really want all my avatar gear.

    Aside from having to go buy a 360 just to upload, are there ANY ways to get my stuff off my hdd onto the one hdd. Im not trying to start all over on some games that are compatible if I don't have to.

    Are DLC's transferable between the 360 & One?

    There's one or two season passes that can be transferred from the 360 to the One but you can't transfer anything from the One to the 360

    Theres supposed to be a transfer cable, made by madcatz, that can transfer data from one 360s to another 360s.

    Currently the cloud is the only way to transfer saves from the 360 to the One. The data transfer cable is only meant to transfer data between 360 hard drives.

    Accidental License Transfer

    License transfers are only something that can be done on the 360. It's not the same thing on the One. The Home setting on the One is similar, but license transferring on the 360 would not affect anything on the One.

    You can perform a license transfer once very 4 months. So if something happens and you do have to get another 360, you will be able to perform another license transfer.

    Sorry, this is not possible to do. The use of the license transfer system in this way is not prohibited. A license transfer cannot be used to transfer one piece of content from one console to another. It transfers all licenses from one Xbox 360 to another Xbox
    360, not from one Xbox LIVE account to another Xbox LIVE account.
