360 Thumb Sticks on Xbox One Controller

Wow that is some crazy wear right there. Looks like someone has taken a saw to them. Just a suggestion you could pull your controller apart and replace them with new ones from ebay or amazon. Probably be cheaper to do that than having to buy a whole new
controller. I don't know if it would makes things better or worse but you can get metal stick replacements. Obviously you would tidy up the plastic shavings the could be in the controller.

I cannot stand the xbox one controller i find it more uncomfortable then any controller ive ever held the thumbs sticks are the biggest let down after playing black ops 3 free run mode for an hour my left hand felt completely crippled thumb destroyed and
middle finger on the back left panel 360 controller was much better feeling but if they was able to put the xbox one mother board in a 360 controller shell that would be perfect.

My controller is almost two years old (December 27th 2013 is when I first setup the X1.) and it's showing wear inside the sticks, though not as bad as shown in the video. I don't remember my 360 controllers doing that, but to be honest, never thought to
look at them; probably wouldn't have ever noticed on the X1 sticks unless I read this thread...or they fell off! Lol.

No, the thumb sticks are the same. If you want tighter thumb sticks you'll have to get an aftermarket controller. I have one from BattleBeavercustoms and it's awesome. You can get a stock x1 controller with 360 tension sticks for $85 or you can send one
of you own in.

I have three of them for two xbox ones and the thumb sticks suck. All of them have at least one thumb stick that's kinda lose in the socket. I also have 3 ps4 controllers and the sticks are tight.

The X1 controller is a total different beast compared to the 360 controller. Although the 360 controller feels more solid, I find the fluidness of the thumbs stick lacking; no real feel to them, especially after using the X1 controller. I find the X1 thumb
sticks are sensitive, so I can feather my moves better then the 360. I replaced one X1 controller because junior got juice spilt on the power button..... now the button stays down.

Love the XBOX One controller. Didn't like the thumb sticks at first, but comparing them to the 360's I now like them a lot more. Now that I'm used to it the 360 controller feels weird. I'm with everyone else with it not feeling as well made as the 360 controller
though.
