360 Thumb Sticks on Xbox One Controller

Does anyone know if you can have the 360 thumb sticks on the Xbox One controller? I know Scuf Gaming do concave thumb sticks which are the Xbox 360 one's (or so I believe) but I was wondering if there's a cheaper option to gaining these (if that's possible).

The 360 thumb sticks just seem better to use in my opinion but that's personal preference.

Hey guys,

So I'm on my third controller for Xbox One. I got the Day One edition, and the left thumb stick and right thumb stick broke within about 2 weeks of playing Ryse: Son of Rome and Battlefield 4. Got a second controller, same thing happened to the left thumb stick
and left bumper now. I am on my THIRD controller and the left thumb stick popped out of place and I can't even click it down anymore. I never had an issue with an Xbox 360 controller and so far I've burned through three Xbox One controllers. I've called support
and they haven't helped and I'm sick and tired of spending money on something that will break within 3 weeks. Microsoft, please do something to help me. Thank you

No, the thumb sticks are the same. If you want tighter thumb sticks you'll have to get an aftermarket controller. I have one from BattleBeavercustoms and it's awesome. You can get a stock x1 controller with 360 tension sticks for $85 or you can send one
of you own in.

IMO the new thumb sticks are better, but how exactly do you want them changed?

Plenty of ways to change stuff but we need more info?

 

The 360 one's seem to be shorter at first glance? I can't really describe how I want them changed, as it has nothing to do with the grip, texture etc. The 360 one's just seem to be a lot smoother, and further down to the controller if that makes any sense.

 

When i got mine, they are certainly looser and longer (the combination of the two makes it easier to move more accurately), but honestly if you have just go it, give it 3 months with playing on a 360, then go back to the 360 and IMO you will see the benefits.

I hate going on the 360 now, and the controller is the main reason, the xbox one controller is by far and away better.

 

Open up your controllers and switch them out. Odds are it's possible, the 360 sticks could be put on a dual shock 3 and visa versa. I think they just pop off, only one way to find out if it means that much.

The 360 sticks circumference is a bit larger but can be shaved down to fit ..

Why? The x1 sticks are a lot better.

 

The 360's is a little bit bigger than the one's on the Xbox 1. Also, I find the sticks on the Xbox 1 much more easier to move they have less resistance than the sticks on my wireless controller for my Xbox 360 slim console.

 

The only part of the XB1 controller I would swap out for the 360 is the Right & Left Bumpers. I just feel like it was easier to click them on 360. Other than that everything is far better on XB1 controller.

 

There's nothing I want changed on the wireless Xbox 1 controller. I love the feel of it and it functions well. The only thing I kind of find unpleasant is the way it vibrates too strongly. Many of my friends and Youtuber's have mentioned it. One of my friends
said he felt like throwing it out the window. The vibration is that strong. I'd imagine a 5 year old would get quite a shock out of it. Honestly, it's crazy how it vibrates.

 

I would rather the Xbox One controller for use with both consoles, that would be awesome.
