360 Slim Hard Drive Inquiry

So, last time I asked about this, my question ended up being is this 500GB HD I found for the 360 slim from amazon official, and you people said it most likely isn't, but now since I got back from a trip from Texas for supplies, I found something that confuses
me: a 500 GB 360 slim/360 E Hard Drive being sold at Sam's Club

I just checked the 360 accessories tab for it and it shows as being manufactured by microsoft, but last I saw of it (on amazon, and this was a year n half ago I believe), it wasn't and the ones being shipped were most likely unofficial knockoff's that would
get me banned; I need official confirmation from both the users and admins here: is this product I saw at sam's club official or not

The casing I saw it in looked official enough but I did not buy it as I don't have a 360 slim or 360 E yet; nor do I have the money needed to buy either/or

Get the slim it's better, however getting your old hard drive memorie to the new slim hard drive will require that you buy an Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Cable to make it easy.

The just announced a 500gb hard drive for the Slim last month. So the one you saw at Sam's is most likely official.

the slim hard drive cannot work with the older gen 'fat' 360s that had clip on drives, the slim drive only fits inside slim model 360 consoles.

For Original Xbox games to be playable on an Xbox 360, it needs to be an official Microsoft Hard Drive.

However, there is no official 120GB hard drive for the Slim, only 250GB and 320GB.

There is a 120GB for the original-style Xbox 360 and the later Elite, but not Slim.

If you are using a Slim, the hard drive itself will be the problem and you will need an official one.

It is the slim 4gb Xbox 360. The hard drive is a Go! Data 80gb external hard drive. It did work with the same slim xbox previously but now it doesn't.
