360 slim game trouble

    360 slim game trouble


    I am having trouble with my 360, the unrecognizable disc error only happens with the installation disk of GTA 5 and main game disc of fallout 3 goty edition, all my other disks read perfectly fine. I'm not entirely sure what is going on with it, but both
    discs are clean and unscratched.

    Trouble Turning On 360 Slim

    When did you get the xbox360? If you got it less than 90 days then you should immediately ask for a repair or replacement for the console(just in case) or accessories. The problem may lie within your power supply. I extracted the information here for you

    Solid green or solid orange light:

    • Your power supply is working. If your console won’t turn on, try our Xbox No Power Solution.
    Flashing orange, solid red, or no light:

    • Your power supply may need to be replaced. Try the following solutions:
    • Try plugging your console’s power supply into a different electrical outlet. Do not use a surge protector.
    • If the power supply light is solid red or flashing orange, unplug the power supply and let it cool for 30 minutes. Then, plug the power supply back into the outlet.
    If your power supply light is still flashing orange, solid red, or unlit, your power supply needs to be replaced. You can Order a replacement Xbox 360 power supply from our Xbox Online Service Center. Console registration is required to replace the power
    supply under warranty (the power supply warranty is the same as your console warranty).

    Hi, I have an Xbox 360 that the power supply seems to be failing on. I would like to purchase a new power supply but am having trouble finding one, would a power supply for a Xbox 360s slim be compatible?
    No. The xbox 360 slim power supplies have a completely different connector so those wont work with a normal 360.

    What have been the issues? Older 360's had a return policy depending on red ring, the new slim seems to be trouble free.

    I ask because you said "generic", and anything other than the official thing will cause you nothing but trouble, and is actually against the TOU.
